The Heart of Jarrow Annual Fund raises money for several key areas benefiting the children and school. These may include program enhancements, financial aid, teacher professional development, facility improvements, and projects supporting our long-term sustainability.

Why does Jarrow fundraise?
Fundraising is both a necessity for balancing Jarrow’s budget and an opportunity for our community to be an important part of helping our school thrive.
Is this fund essential to Jarrow’s fiscal health?
Yes. Without annual fund dollars, we would need to pull from our reserves. Our reserve provides for any unexpected expenses that could arise, like building maintenance and unforeseen emergencies.
Did you know?
Tuition does not cover the entire cost of educating a child at Jarrow. We purposefully keep tuition below-cost. We start the school year subsidizing 4-6% percent of each child’s tuition, depending on the program. We keep an intentional gap in our operating budget because we believe in keeping Montessori education affordable for all families.
The Opportunity
Your support empowers our school to be successful. Together, through our combined giving, we can improve our school now and into the future. Our children enjoy all they have because of the generosity of past families. Jarrow has been serving the families of Boulder for 60+ years, and your gift will make sure it will continue to be there for future generations.
How does Jarrow use fundraising dollars?
Funds are unrestricted and used where needed most, which can include: classroom materials, professional development for teachers, outdoor beautification, and financial assistance for families.
How much should I contribute?
It is our sincere hope that you will make a gift that is meaningful for your family. All gifts are greatly appreciated and will be stewarded with care.
How can I make my donation go further?
We are proud to be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. As such, your donation may qualifies as federally-recognized charitable contribution and is eligible for tax benefits. In Colorado, we have the added benefit of the Child Care Contribution Credit. Taxpayers who make a monetary contribution to promote child care may claim an income tax credit of 50% of their total contribution.* (Only monetary donations are eligible. Stock, other securities, donations through a donor advised fund, and in-kind gifts, are not eligible but may qualify for other tax benefits.) For more information, click HERE.

How do I donate?
You can donate with a one-time gift or as a monthly recurring donation that adds up!
Giving can be scheduled online here or you can mail a check. We can also accept gifts of stock, securities, wires, foundation grants and matching gifts from your employer.

When can I donate?
The Heart of Jarrow Fund runs for our entire fiscal year, August 1 - July 31. However, our goal is to have 100% community participation before the end of this calendar year! Although our campaign kicks off in the fall, we accept donations at any time of the year.
